RK Media Production’s Ron Kuipers and CBC’s Diana Swain team up for project Smilezone
Ron Kuipers is the owner of RK Media (www.rkmediaproductions.ca), a freelance producer and writer, ex-Winnipeg Jets sportscaster who has worked with CTV and CBC.
Ron was in recently with his wife Diana Swain from CBC recording a voiceover for Smilezone (www.smilezone.com), a non-profit organization that specializes in creating “a place, space or case that can put a smile on every kid’s face”

Diana’s work is frequently seen on The National and CBC Television’s flagship investigative program “The Fifth Estate”. Diana also regularly fills in for Peter Mansbridge as anchor of The National.

Cinema 16 in the studio today!
Cinema 16 meets River 16 for upcoming documentary Oil to Water. Bill Anderson from Classical 96.3fm was the excellent talent (pictured right) with Cinema 16 owner Sandy Thomson (middle) and Melissa (left) from Pacific West.
In 1970, G.A. (Sandy) Thomson launched a small film production company, using a 16 mm Bolex camera. Cinema 16 write, direct and distribute high quality film productions of vintage aircraft, warbirds, ships and industrial facility restoration projects.
